The World Mark Foundation has recently launched its inaugural CSR project with a significant focus on empowering women through the provision of free sanitary pads to students and female workers. This pioneering initiative is specifically designed to address the numerous challenges that women encounter during menstruation. It is well-acknowledged that in vast regions of India, menstruation remains a highly stigmatized and taboo subject, often leading to feelings of shame and embarrassment among women. The project has made considerable strides in actively working to shift these societal perceptions and has received an overwhelmingly positive response. The foundation has set its sights on scaling the impact of its efforts to reach women in remote areas across India. The primary emphasis will be on delivering comprehensive education and support, while also highlighting the paramount importance of addressing this critical health issue.
